In Nepal, many impoverished families have been forced to sell their daughters to work far from home as bonded servants. Some of these children are as young as six! Most of these enslaved girls live in horrific conditions. They seldom attend school and have no prospects for a decent future. Many are abused, some are forced into prostitution, and some disappear entirely. The Nepalese Youth Opportunity Foundation (NYOF) brings these girls home to their families, sponsors their education, and gives each girl’s family a piglet or goat to reimburse them for the money they would have received for selling their daughter. You see, when I get older, I really really really wanna be a 6th Grade Math Teacher in the middle school that I’m in now, cuz there’s this one teacher that really really really inspired me to be just like her when I get older, cuz she was a former student at the middle school that she now teaches in [which is the same middle school that I'm in now], and I just don’t know a good college to go to with teaching&education courses in them, so if you know any colleges, then could you please tell me.
