If so, would you say that you accepted evolution based on the authority of prominent scientists, would you have described yourself as ignorant of evolutionary theory at the time? 2.As an atheist, did you find that the theory of evolution (and related theories of natural formation of the universe, life etc.) reinforced your atheism? 3.In your pre-university education (the American equivalent of Primary and Secondary schools) what was your schools attitude towards the teaching of evolution and/or creationism? Was either position taught to you? 4.When you became a creationist, was it a gradual shift in viewpoint, or was it a specific event that caused you to abandon evolution? Did you convert to Christianity before that or at the time? Do you remember what key events caused you to shift your viewpoint? 5.If you were ignorant of evolutionary theory at the time, do you believe that, had you been better educated in the field of evolution, you would have not been convinced?
