Schools education ?

Should children at secondary education be taught about money eg how to save money, don’t buy what you don’t need or only buy what you need,
It wasnt taught when i was at school but i had sense to spend my money wisely, glad its being taught in schools

Yes, I believe that PSHE (Personal, Social, Health Education) has been renamed PSHEE (Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education). I was taught about loans, saving money, getting into debt and how to spend money wisely.
A lot of the recent problems with money come from people not being able to pay back money so I think it’s important to educate the next generation.

I teach a year 6 class and we teach life skills to the children- money, budgeting, the world of work. I guess it would be a good idea to teach it in secondary education too
