    yes. you can’t tune the string if the nut is tightened; you’ll break the tuners.

    think of the locking tuners as a deadbolt on a door; it’s just another way to keep the door from opening.

    i have a brige like that on my guitar and when i tone my guitar its moving and ”retone” all other strings that i can try toning them in a few hours but it is impossible to tone it
